Share Windows USB disks on Mac and Linux - NTFS-3G biz model

I use three platforms, namely, Mac OSX, Windows, and Linux. To share Windows USB disk, I normally format it as FAT32. That's a common format for 3 platforms. Lately, I spotted NTFS-3G (www.ntfs-3g.org) who literally makes NTFS read/write available to hundreds of platforms, and that of course includes Mac OSX and Linux distributions. That's the hell of a specialization, as I was thinking this kind of focus to make one file system format available for such a wide variety of platforms must be a good biz. This is a biz model one can build on similarly with other talents you have.
