Ten Uses of Social Media in School
How do you use social media like Facebook and Twitter in your school environment? Here're ten possible uses. Feel free to suggest yours.
1. For your school project paper, share the topic and your view, collect opinion responses and Like statistics, and use that as materials for your paper. Solid as gold. Social media mature as a research platform.
2. WIKI is to a certain extent a social learning environment. Challenge yourself by editing and let the world teach you with corrections. The majority rules. Remember the validation rule 101 though in any social media etiquette tutorial.
3. Recruit is definitely one, be it summer job, about graduation, or freelance.
4. Peer to peer teaching definitely is one. Clustered learning is the informal learning environment out of the top down hierarchy in classroom. Now this is getting cyber at the speed of light.
5. Rate your professor. This is essentially a real time feedback system, hopefully with the positive objective to enhance the learning environment.
6. Share your education profile. Watch the privacy rule.
7. Most schools nowadays have their own social presence. Keep in touch.

9. Research. Social media complement the library in terms of timeliness and interactiveness.
10. Learn about social responsibility, the way we perform in real life.
